There are a range of other reports which have been completed and include TOMM information or a particularly relevant to Kangaroo Island.  Some of these have been outlined for your interest:

TIM (Tourism Impact Model)

In September 2005 the Kangaroo Island Council in conjunction with the South Australian Tourism Commission provided funds to undertake the then recently released Tourism Impact Model (TIM).  TIM is an excel-based tool developed by the Tourism Division of the Australian Government Department of Industry, Tourism and Resources and distributed free of charge to all Councils across Australia. As with all predictive models, the output is only as reliable as the quality and accuracy of the data put into the model.

This report provides estimates of the impact of tourism on the economy of Kangaroo Island (KI) and the related impacts on the budget of KI Council. The estimates have been derived by following the procedures set down in the Tourism Impact Model (TIM).

Kangaroo Island Regional Profile

The Kangaroo Island Development Board produce a Regional Profile for the Island, which is available on their website, along with an array of other reports about the region. The Regional Profile presents a summary og statistical, descriptive quantitavie and qualitative information regarding the economic, social and environmental aspects of Kangaroo Island as region.
